Bedworth Remembrance 2024
Bedworth Remembrance Day Parade 2024
Every year our town, along with many others, take time to remember the sacrifices made by soldiers both past and present. Bedworth remains the only town to always parade on the closest Sunday to November 11th as well as actually parading on the 11th November, without fail. All children take part in a 2 minute silence at 11 o'clock. Key Stage 2 and Year 2 children then walk up to town to witness the parade as it leaves the cenaotaph.
Remembrance in Reception
Reception learnt all about the meaning of Remembrance discussed the importance of Poppies and what they symbolise. We created our own poppies using clay, playdough and paper and even made our own poppy biscuits which were delicious!
