Diversity Day
We have been exploring the theme of diversity. In our PSHE lessons, we developed a deep understanding of what diversity means and why it is so important to celebrate our differences.
Last week, we listened to the story The Forest of Many Challenges during assembly, which helped us understand how valuable diversity is. To conclude the week, we held a Diversity Day where pupils were invited to wear clothing or bring in items that represented their heritage, culture, hobbies, or interests. We spent time sharing these with one another and celebrating the many ways that make us unique.
Well done to all the pupils for truly ‘living life in all its fullness’ by sharing what makes them special and by listening to and learning from others. A huge thank you, as always, to our parents and carers for their support in making this day such a success.
