Junior Cramner Awards
On Tuesday this week, two of our Year 5 pupils represented the school at the prestigious Junior Cranmer Awards. Harry Babington and Daisy Wagstaff had to learn and recite, from memory, passages of Biblical literature. The texts were incredibly difficult to learn with extremely complex language and pronunciations. Amongst 19 finalists they both spoke fluently and confidently in front of around 60 people and judges. Daisy was voted in 3rd place overall which was superb. Both Harry and Daisy represented our school brilliantly and deserve credit for all the time and effort they (and their families) put into the task.
